What did I get myself into? Hahaha

Me and my uni friends decided to embark on a 7-day challenge. This was the first time I heard about the 7-day cabbage soup challenge. So, since we had a strong support group, I’ve got nothing to lose ek? Seriously, I just had to lose some weight…else my dinner dress is too huggy…tak lepas sirim hubs nanti. So, we took our vital measurements and posted on our whatsapp group named ‘Fit & Trim’!

To pump us up further, we had to have an icon for reference sake…it went from sexy abs to finally we settled for a more humble and mediocre fit & trim model…

So here goes the 7-day regime:
Day 1:
All fruits except bananas. Cantaloupe and watermelon are lower in calories than most fruits. Eat only the soup and fruits. For drinks – unsweetened tea, cranberry juice or water.

Day 2:
All vegetables. Eat until you are stuffed with all fresh, raw or canned vegetables. Try to eat green leafy veggies and stay away from dry beans and peas. Eat along with the soup. At dinner time on this day, reward yourself with a big baked potato and butter. Do not eat any fruit.

Day 3:
Eat all the soup, fruit and veggies that you want. Do not have a baked potato. If you have eaten the three days as specified above, and you have not cheated, you would have lost five to seven pounds.

Day 4:
Bananas and skimmed milk. Eat as many as three bananas and drink as many glasses of water as you can on this day, along with the soup. Bananas are high in calories and carbohydrates and so is the milk, but on this particular day, your body will need the potassium, carbohydrates, protein and calcium to lessen your cravings for sweets.

Day 5:
Beef OR chicken and tomatoes. You may have 10 – 20 oz of beef OR chicken and a can of tomatoes’ or as many as six fresh tomatoes on this day. Try to drink at least six to eight glasses of water to wash away the uric acid in your body. Eat the soup at least once this day.

Day 6:
Beef OR chicken and veggies. Eat at your heart’s content of the beef OR chicken and vegetables on this day. You can have two or three steaks as you wish with green leafy vegetables, but no baked potatoes, be sure to eat the soup at least once this day.

Day 7:
Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice and vegetables. Again stuff yourself. Be sure to eat the soup at least once this day.

I survived! Stay tune to a bit more details on how I did my 7 day challenge! Till then, take care!
